A good stay! The traditional Japanese-style room was spacious and clean, perfect for our family. Breakfast was an exquisite experience, accompanied with hot tea and coffee all day. The location is superb, just steps away from eateries and shopping. And don't miss the onsen-an absolute must!

I loved the room, it was cheap and big size with a fridge, really good futon, TV. Having a bidet, towels and slippers was a bonus. The location was particularly good, walk from a railroad station. There was a great restaurant, a shopping area and a supermarket next door.

The private onsen experience was a real treat!
The bathroom setup was quite inconvenient. I found myself having to go through a lounge and restaurant just to get to the toilet, awkward-especially in the mornings. Noise from the staff preparing breakfast at 6:30 AM disrupted my sleep.

Recommend it for couples who appreciate tradition
Great ryokan, the staff was friendly and even with the language barrier they managed with translations. Our private onsen experience was a highlight, just 500 yen for 50 minutes and totally worth it, my wife loved every moment.
It wasn't exactly cheap but that's acceptable for the experience we got.

We loved the family room with the traditional tatami mats and the really good breakfast options available. The location was convenient as it was within walking distance to local attractions like Takegawara Spa. The private onsen experience was a hit with our teenagers!
My kids wished for more parking options nearby.

Wi-Fi was strong and reliable. Luggage storage made check-in smooth, but the room was quite dated.

We had a cozy stay with fantastic veggie meals that were tailored just for me, making breakfast a highlight! Don’t miss trying both the private onsen and the public bath. it’s such a relaxing experience. Just a heads-up, the building has a charming older vibe, so you might hear some morning hustle and bustle, but it didn't bother us at all! 😊

The spacious Japanese-style room offered a glimpse into traditional accommodation with tatami mats, though some areas felt outdated. Helpful staff provided excellent recommendations for local bus routes and gave insightful tips for our private onsen experience. Breakfast was good, reflecting a taste of Indonesian cuisine. The lack of nearby parking options could be inconvenient, and the shared facilities occasionally felt crowded.
